Connexcel also offer tailored guardianship services to meet the needs of our students. We are, and have been for 15 years, guardians to hundreds of students (aged 8-19), both within our own organisation and other international pupils in UK boarding schools. We have a network of fully trained and checked host families throughout the UK, meaning we are always on hand to care for a child at short notice, should it be required. We are fully accredited Gold Standard members of the Association for the Education and Guardianship of International Students (AEGIS) and full members of the Boarding Schools’ Association Guardianship Certification Scheme. This provides assurance to schools and parents that we are educational guardians who have the highest standards in safeguarding and safer recruitment and training of staff and host families.

Our staff in both the UK and China offer full understanding of both cultures, removing barriers to communication between school and home and enabling effective transition to a new system. Communication with students and parents in their own language enable us to offer speedy resolution to any issues and ensures effective transition of information. With our staff body consisting of former and practising teachers, house parents, pastoral managers and Headteachers, as well as fluent Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese and Korean speakers, schools and parents can be assured that students are receiving the very best care.
